iPhone "in the field" Review

Ok, So I just got back from Vancouver and read my most recent post. It is garbage. This was partly due to the fact that I was sitting at a cafe in Vancouver completely soaked from the never ending rain and completely coffee stoned, with little time to spare. (wow that was one long and overly descriptive sentence) Despite all that, the iPhone kinda sucked. The browser wouldn't display the posting page correctly and the buttons are too small. The predictive text is retarded when trying to type in a browser because it keeps inserting weird words and characters while you are typing. Truthfully, I could of made a perfect post with the iPhone. But its a matter of constantly looking back at your text to make sure its not suggesting another word and when it is, you have to correct it. So when you just blast through a sentence, you will have zero luck (as I did at the end of the post) in making any sense.
See the post from an iPhone here.

Wenger Giant Swiss Army Knife

"85 implements capable of performing over 100 separate functions, from scaling fish to fixing bicycles. All of which makes it impossibly useful. Want a laser flashlight? No problem. Torch? Can do. Universal Wrench? Yup. Golf divot repair tool? Si. Double-cut wood saw? Uh-huh. And so it goes. On and on and on and on. There's almost no indoor or outdoor emergency which could not be tackled with this comprehensive if somewhat unwieldy device." Check out another pic of it completely opened up. I don't even think that it could actually be used for any task except throwing it or banging on stuff with it. Buy it here for lots of money (over a grand).

The ThinkGeek Chain Mail T-Shirt

Think Geek brings you, as always, another great/useful product. How could a chain mail t-shirt not be useful? Defending girls honor with fights to the death will definitely require this protective casing. Also, slaying dragons is tough without chain mail - trust us. This t-shirt is made from thousands of tiny aluminum rings and equals 20 lbs. For $100 you could get a really nice button up dress shirt... or the ability to be stabbed several times without shedding blood.
Good thing is, you will always be ready for battle. And if you get dirty just hose yourself off with the hose, or let the blood crust.

Unlocked iPhone

iPhones are pretty sweet. They are the coolest, newest, do it all gadget available to man. It is a benchmark in human history and is the beginning of a new generation of electronic device. But with everything yin there is a yang, and every Jedi, a Sith. You see, the iPhone has had a lot of politics about it when it was time for its release. I guess the highest bidder to be the provider for the iPhone was Cingular/AT&T. So that means if you use a different carrier, and want the iPhone (who doesn't?) then you need to switch your cell phone company. This is, unless, you have the privileged information that we have. You must be pretty happy that you read this blogazine now arn't you, you lucky duck you. Anyway, if you have deep pockets, and want the luxury of using the iPhone with any carrier you want, then you can buy an unlocked iPhone. We have found them being sold from a few of locations. The first place to look is puremobile.com where it will cost you nearly $1100 USD. The second place we've found them is popularelect.com, where you will expect to spend around $1200 USD. Finally, you can always find them, or pretty much anything, on eBay where it might actually be cheaper then the previous stores.

Skullcandy DJ Headphones

These are basically pretty kick ass headphones. The company sells other stuff like backpacks, ear buds, MP3 players, and other accessories too. My favorite is the Terje NINE and G.I. headphone models.
Arm yourself with the G.I. DJ style headphones from Skullcandy. Designed for those who demand the most from their gear, the G.I.’s premium quality 41mm drivers and super stealthy paint will keep you tuned in and out of sight.

* 41mm Superior driver * Soft leather touch ear pads
* Extra ear pad set * 90 Degree swivel speakers

Krudmart's Online Store

According to their website, The Krudmart was started in early summer 2002 by two guys looking to dump overstocked inventory on ebay but eventually it grew into something more. It became an online retailer with it's own identity, a creative outlet and a way to get cheap clothes for themselves by carrying more and more of the brands they liked.
It features many rare and unique brand name clothes and gear, my favorites being; Fuct, Stabs, 2K, Quiet Life, Gravis, Durkl, and Kid America Club.
