Need for Speed ProStreet

In Need for Speed ProStreet, "Speed Challenges are very much like a standard race, except that the courses you race on are designed to be extremely fast, with turns that slowly move from side to side that allow you to keep your foot on the gas at all times."
It looks like we get the ability to drive cars such as the new Skyline, Cayman, Turbo, M3, RS4, Elise, as well as a whole crap load of new (and old) yet slightly lesser cars.

War On Terror - The Board Game! (banned)

WAR ON TERROR, THE BOARDGAME: "It's got suicide bombers, political kidnaps and intercontinental war. It's got filthy propaganda, rampant paranoia and secret treaties and the Axis of Evil is a spinner in the middle of the board."
It is a satirical reaction to modern day events, a highly topical game of strategy that sees
players struggling to restore order to our turbulent world. "The goal of War on Terror is to liberate the world, ridding it of fear forever. Alternatively, you can play for a world without empires. Incredibly insightful, War on Terror is like a cross between Risk and Monopoly with loads of complex contemporary crises thrown in." This game was banned in a lot of US states. So get it while you still can!
Check out more pictures, descriptions, even a movie, oh and also buy it, at the firebox website here for about $60.00 . You can also buy it from the official War on Terror website here.

Flying Dumpster in Halo 3 - New Secret Vehicle

So these clever guys found out how to make a dumpster in Halo 2 fly. All you have to do is tip over a dumpster on its side and get two players to climb inside. After this you have to time your jumps in sync with each other and it begins to fly as you jump! Apparently if you get good enough at it then you can start to steer it around. lolz

Gaming Vest Lets You Feel the Game!

The next level of gaming evolution is upon us. TN Games have just designed what they call the 3rd Space Vest, which allows gamers to actually feel the impact of punches and shots. Adding a whole new level of realism in computer simulations than has ever been achieved before. It looks like a bullet proof vest, and that’s essentially the idea. To feel the impact, not suffer from it. It simulates an impact upon the gamer’s body by alternating air pressures that simulate the sensation of impact with a pneumatic thump. The more intense the impact, the greater the air pressure alternates. The vest contains eight zones pressure areas which can focus force accurately to simulate not only punches and gunshots, but also stabs, explosions, and even a gentile touch or tap of another player. It will be bundled with two games; 3rd Space Incursion and a special edition of Call of Duty II. It even comes in pink for your girlfriend!
It is set to come out in November and cost $189.

Army of Two - Recruitment Trailer

Army of Two looks like its going to be a pretty good game. It's got the graphics, the gameplay, and the gore that we've all come to expect and crave from video games. "Army of Two throws gamers into hot spots ripped from current day headlines where they will utilize unique two-man strategies and tactics while seamlessly transitioning between playing with intelligent Partner AI (PAI) and a live player. When one man is not enough, it will take an army of two to fight through war, political turmoil and a conspiracy so vast it threatens the entire world."
View the trailer here in Regular and in HD.

Master Chief Goes to Harvard

A group of MIT students hacked one of John P. Harvard statues, and equipped it with a Spartan helmet and assault rifle.
"All we can say is "Wow." We may not be able to talk to MIT students very long at parties without getting sleepy, but when it comes to pranks, it's clear that we all speak the same language: Nerd."

Halo 3 - First Impressions

So, we just got Halo 3. It came with some goodies too; t-shirt, hat, $10.00 discount for preordering, and a free copy of the new Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer (which looks kinda weak). First online game was won with 25 kills. Some new things to look forward to: Slighlty different controls (pretty minor though), new levels, new soundtrack, crazy good graphics, new weapons and vehicles. Also, a new story in campaign mode. It's pretty amazing, and it looks like school is going to take a few more semesters than anticipated. Post your own reviews in the comments of this post.

New Halo 3 Ad, & Diorama

This is the new Halo 3 ad that has just come out. It's a new approach to the video game ads, which is nice. It is basically just a huge diorama set up to feature a massive Halo 3 battle.
"According to Bungie, this "1200-square-foot diorama created for them [marketing team], is meant to be a generic representation of a series of battles, perhaps a levels worth in Halo 3"
More pics of the diorama: Pic 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6.
"Frankie says the diorama, which stands 12 feet tall and is peopled with 8 to 19-inch hand-crafted figures, is currently being taken apart with plans to perhaps have it tour the country, stopping at Halo events and maybe even a few museums"

Halo 3

The epic story from Bungie continues with the 3rd installment of the crazy Halo franchise, and it's set to begin September 25th. - just in time for the school year. Some improvements include certain graphical, technical and gameplay advancements, as well as a 'whole new level of online gameplay'. I know, that's pretty vague. Luckily I found a whole slew of video clips here. It will be certain that you'll spend the next 8-12 months glued to this thing, at least I will be. Oh, well. As if I had a life anyway.
-Oh ya, and don't go for this helmet package deal, you can't wear it and it sucks.
